Meet the Staff
Angie Kast
My name is Angie Kast, I am a licensed agent and owner of Metro Insurance Services. I have worked in the insurance field for over 32 years. With Metro Insurance I would love to assist you with your insurance needs, from personal to commercial risks. Even though I have the duties of running and managing the agency, my true joy comes with the reward of working with the customers directly and helping them with insurance problems and helping them get coverage for the things that are most important to them. Christiansburg is home and local to me as I have lived with my family in this area my entire life. My favorite past times are spending it with family and friends. I enjoy serving in my church, biking, hiking or even a day spent with my daughter and her husband at their farm and of course family beach weeks are a must. I feel that I have truly been blessed in life and find it a joy to spend my days at work with the most wonderful co workers I could ever ask for. I look forward to the future adventures that are ahead and the new people I get to meet along the way.
Katrina Snavely
My name is Katrina Snavely, I have been with Metro Insurance for almost 4 years now and have enjoyed every minute of it. I have loved meeting all of our currently insureds as well as our new clients and helping them with their insurance needs. I've grown up in Christiansburg and I absolutely love being a part of this wonderful community. When I'm not working I'm either spending time with my family and friends, or probably on my way down to Tennessee. I'm excited to deepen my knowledge and broaden my horizons on this continuous journey, that I call life.
Teresa Lyons
My name is Teresa Lyons. I am a Property and Casualty Agent. I have been working in the insurance industry for over 30 years. I manage the Pulaski office. I enjoy working with the public and assisting with their insurance needs. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, canning and gardening.
Kim Woolwine
I have worked in the insurance field as a customer service representative with Metro since 1989. I have resided in Blacksburg all my life. I love meeting people and take pride in doing my best to meet the needs of our customers. In my spare time away from the office, I enjoy walking, the lake, family, and my dogs. I love a good challenge because I feel it makes improvements in myself. Simplicity is the key to happiness!
Emma Bolling
My name is Emma Bolling, I was born and raised in the Christiansburg area. I have been in my position at Metro Insurance for over 2 years now, which is my first full time job. My experience at Metro has allowed me to develop a strong work ethic and a better understanding of customer service. Beyond my job at metro, I also work part-time at an All star cheer gym, where I have the opportunity to share my passion for cheerleading and contribute to the development of young athletes. In addition to both of my jobs, I am also actively involved in my church's youth group. In my free time, I love taking in all the time I can with my family. In all my roles, whether at Metro, the cheer gym, or within my church community. I strive to bring dedication, enthusiasm, and a commitment to excellence. I look forward to continuing to grow both professionally and personally.
